Bractburd is a F&B Company registered as a private Limited Company under The companies Act 2013 & it is a DPIIT recognized startup by Government of India.
The company aims to provide world class food & drink products through its chains of outlets running across India under the Live Kitchen Mode of Business.
The company is engaged in the Franchise model of business whereby it delivers the brand name Authenticity & the agreement is made for mutual cooperation & support among the franchisee & Franchisor.
The Start
It all started when the Founder Mr. Arpit Raj was perusing his BBA-Tourism Travel & Hospitality in Shillong. In order to meet the mid-night cravings of the local students and people, the concept was started way back in 2015 and continued till 2018 in informal way to deliver foods by own source to the local students and people.
The Break & Professional working exposure
After going through college placements and attaining the technical know how of running and operating a business through practical exposure in the franchise domain, the informal way of business was getting more exposure towards a formal way of conducting business and the requirements of team and professionals required was analyzed and achieved during the period from 2018 to 2019.
The Incorporation of the company
After gaining significant hands-on experience in the Food & Beverage sector and developing a deep understanding of the franchise business model, Mr. Arpit Raj, along with his dedicated team, decided to take the next big step in their entrepreneurial journey. With a clear vision and a passion to scale their unique chai café concept, they formally established a Private Limited Company to operate under a structured and compliant business framework.
The company was officially incorporated on 30th August 2019, marking a pivotal moment in their transition from a college-side hustle to a professionally managed and scalable brand. All necessary regulatory registrations and industry-specific licenses were secured during the same year, laying a strong foundation for full-scale business operations.
This move not only legitimized their business but also opened doors to new opportunities—enabling them to expand, build strategic partnerships, and attract potential franchisees. The incorporation symbolized the beginning of a long-term vision: to take the authentic chai culture of India to every corner of the country through a modern, vibrant, and youth-driven café experience.

The company planned to work in the franchise domain by the trade name of chaaiseth, and accordingly all type of licenses and other formalities as required by the laws of the land was taken into consideration and availed from the govt agencies.
The Startup India
RegistrationTo support its long-term vision of quality service and sustainable growth, the company received Startup India recognition from DPIIT, Ministry of Commerce & Industry, on 04th June 2021.
Export-Import License
Recognizing the industry’s potential and aiming for global expansion, we obtained the Import-Export License from the DGFT, Ministry of Commerce & Industry. The IEC Certificate was granted on 22nd July 2021.
Team Building
After gaining sufficient license and practical exposure of the industry we started working at fast face and accordingly multiple franchise outlets was opened and operated through out India under the trademark.
Starting of D'Burger Seth
Seeing the unexplored potential of the domain and reach more of the industry and in order to specifically target the burger industry we launched our new Brand D’Burger Seth under the control and operation of the parent company BRACTBURD FOOD AND BEVERAGE (P) LIMITED in year 2023.
HAPPY 5 Years of Journey
In year 2024, we have successfully completed 5 years of business operation, although on formal way we have over 9 years of experience, but taking things on legal way, wea re working in the industry since 5 years and lot more years are yet unexplored, we are eagerly waiting to welcome all our franchisee partners for the franchise in your city, join hands with us to provide quality foods and give a wonderful experience to all our potential customers.
